Public Disclosure of Arrangements Protected Under the ACO Participation Waiver
McAuley Health Partners ACO, LLC (“MHP ACO”) is enrolled in the ENHANCED Track of the Medicare Shared Savings Program. At a meeting of the MHP ACO Management Board (“Board”) on September 16, 2019, the Board made a bona fide determination that a collaborative arrangement with IHA Health Services Corporation (“IHA”) to administer a dietary assistance program is reasonably related to the purposes of the Medicare Shared Savings Program, including the promotion of evidence-based medicine, improved patient engagement and addressing the health needs of MHP ACO’s assigned population and meets the necessary requirements to grant an ACO Participation Waiver. The arrangement supports a shift in dietary patterns by providing participating patients with education on healthy eating habits and preparing healthy meal options through both an in-person and home delivery program. IHA is a participant in MHP ACO.
